/ The Mission

We’re ending single use. One supply chain at a time.

NOPE exists to replace short term plastic thinking with long term circular design. From reusable systems to home-compostable PHA, we create real world alternatives that cut carbon, simplify disposal, and fit the pace of modern life.

The Materials

PHA: Plastic That Nature Understands.

Made by microbes, not oil | Home-compostable, marine-safe, and carbon-friendly.

It’s what plastic should’ve been all along.

– Built for service, not shelf life. Certified by TUV Austria for real-world composting. –

/ The Solution

We make sustainability operational.

It’s not offsetting. It’s ownership.

IMPACT PROOF

NOPE Carbon Insetting Calculator
Estimate the greenhouse gas savings when you replace conventional plastics with NOPE biopolymers, using cradle to gate emission factors and your own DEFRA 2025 values.
Scope 3 insetting
DEFRA 2025 ready
Material, freight and end of life
1 Baseline product

Your current plastic item

Used to show carbon savings per year. Leave blank if you only need per unit.
Uses tonne kilometre freight factors from DEFRA 2025.
2 NOPE swap and factors

Your NOPE alternative

PHA / PHBH factors include cradle to gate production. Biogenic credit can be added separately.
Only use this if the credit is not already netted in the biopolymer factor.
Advanced DEFRA factors and waste splits
Weighted by your current split, for example landfill and incineration.
Weighted by expected split, for example composting and residual landfill.
The calculator uses:
E_baseline = material + freight + waste
E_NOPE = material + freight + waste − biogenic credit

Baseline versus NOPE profile

This chart compares total emissions per item for your current plastic and the NOPE alternative, including material, optional freight and optional end of life.

Baseline item 0.000 kg CO₂e
NOPE item 0.000 kg CO₂e
  • Material emissions difference shown per item.
  • Freight and end of life are only included when toggled.
  • Use export or screenshots to support ESG reporting and Scope 3 disclosures.
This calculator is intended as a front of house view of your master model. Keep the master factors table, sources and version control in your internal workbook.

We don’t do buzzwords. We build better systems.

Facts, not fluff.

We design for reality, not theory.

That means PHA first. Our home-compostable material that genuinely returns to nature. We only use PLA when it’s operationally essential and we’re fully transparent about how it’s handled.

We’re not just fighting single use, we’re fighting plastic in every form, even the so called “reusables” because swapping thin plastic for thick plastic isn’t progress.

Real sustainability means materials and systems that actually close the loop; products that serve their purpose, then safely disappear or live on in genuine reuse cycles.

Our goal is simple: replace waste with circular value.

Compostables where single-use makes sense. Premium NOPE Reusables where durability drives waste down.

Every path designed to cut landfill, lower Scope 3 emissions, and keep ipact inside your won supply chain.

“We built packaging that behaves like nature intended: useful, then gone.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Get quick, clear answers about NOPE’s home compostable PHA range for reusability on event day, taste neutrality, simple disposal guidance, plastic-tax benefits, and branding options so your team can switch with confidence.

Is PHA reusable on the day?
Yes, our cups and cutlery are event-durable, then designed for a compostable end-of-life.
Will drinks taste different?
No. PHA is taste-neutral, including with alcohol and hot drinks.
How do we explain disposal to visitors?
Use our signage and one-liner: “Compost at home or place in the NOPE bin.”
What about Plastic Packaging Tax exposure?
Our range helps minimise liability versus conventional plastics.
Can we brand the products?
Yes, print options available, plus complementary reusable merchandise.
What certifications do NOPE products have?
Home-compostability (e.g., OK compost HOME) and food-contact compliance, with UKCA/CE metrology support where required.
What are typical lead times and MOQs?
Samples fast; standard production usually 2–4 weeks with sensible MOQs. We’ll confirm per SKU and volume.
What if home composting isn’t available onsite?
Collect in clearly labelled NOPE bins and direct customers to take home for composting; where that’s not possible, follow local waste guidance while working toward a compostable stream.
